Biography

Maria started her career in 1978 with a turn in the decidedly British “comedy” What’s Up Superdoc!, and subsequently manufactured a career out of appearing in less-than-notable British films such as Can I Come Too?, Mary Millington’s True Blue Confessions, and Emmanuelle in Soho, which found her in the role of “Showgirl.” Needless to say, Maria wasn’t an A-list actress by any stretch of the imagination. However, she managed to land a role in the semi-notable 1983 production Fanny Hill as one of the many prostitutes that Fanny encounters during her downward spiral towards sin and debauchery. Maria just so happens to be the one that Fanny ends up in bed with for some lesbianic action including some boob-sucking and clam-diving. Unfortunately, the film also marked the end of Maria’s career. Bummer.
